The Virtual Private Server has a wide range of uses, but VPS hosting is primarily used to breach the large gap between dedicated hosting services and shared web hosting services and they can take the best from both of these services. They can operate without the firm restrictions of the shared web hosting services and see any past rules as being mere guidelines that can be easily bypassed now. It also manages to be cheaper than dedicated hosting services. The only problem the VPS has is the same as with almost any virtual machine, in that it struggles to run certain programs, particularly other virtualizers and it has a limited RAM speed and disc memory space. However, apart from these few restrictions, there is no limit on what program can be installed onto a VPS and it gives the option of making the program public to the rest of the computer for any other users or can be kept private and personal, it is the customer’s choice every single time.
